I totally agree TIF! Been having a convo on Twitter with a Sydney friend and I made exactly that argument. He doesn't agree, not surprisingly! His principal counter-argument is that the ARU funds our player salaries and without players there would be no Force...

This is one of those rants that has some truth in it but should be used by the Force as a goad to push them selves harder before each game. Tape in to every locker in the changing room.

Well said, SNOB. There is some truth to it, based on past performances.

But like any hack, he didn't do any research into the changes that have been made in the offseason, the foundations that were built last season (showing Alfie and JOC the door), other than "they signed a lot of Saffers". He doesn't understand any of that anyway. Just what his "sources" in Sydney tell him. Hacky, shoddy journalism, based on past results.

yeah, not a lot of research or effort into that piece... didn't once mention Alfie in the attack strength, who was the competition leading try scorer at the time he was booted. Didn't mention Holmes.

With Growden's past form this is in fact a glowing endorsement for the Western Force.

Only winning will change the East Coast centric press view of the Western Force.

Tired on just being competitive. Want to see the squad get some good reward for their efforts.

It's time to not only change this perception but blow some lesser teams, aka The Rebels, off the pitch with some big wins!!!
