a mate just sent me a photo (stock) of the Rebels members gear... their scarves have an embroidered badge reflective of how many years youve been a member! pretty cool me thinks!

It's still crap though. It is little wonder rugby memberships are so bad in this country. To have less knowledge of marketing than the mungoes is quite frankly an embarrassment for the code

Reckon the Rabble scarves are a clever bit of marketing. Doesn't seem much on the surface of it but once you have a few years in, it's a pretty good incentive to renew.

For all the hopeless stuff the rebels have, memberships is something they do well. The Foundation Member gear have a "lifetime guarantee" so if you lose the hat, they'll send you a new one at no cost and they're only for people who were there day 1. Post game drinks are brilliant too.

They have to do something to make up for the crappiness of their jersey.......and the location of their stadium

I received my rebels membership pack yesterday. 4 year foundation member patch on the scarf and a decent hat which, I may actually wear.
