Ha ha, we all thought he would try that! If Fox Sports want to give us a real headline, they should go with:

"Matt Giteau tipped to return to Australia for 2015 Super Rugby season seeking a World Cup berth"
    OR
"Karmichael Hunt tipped to return to rugby union for 2015 Super Rugby season seeking a World Cup berth"

All this JO'C stuff is getting so redundant. And Sonny Bill too, as if he wasn't ever gonna try to get back with the All Blacks, really now?

I reckon the rugby world should be making a bigger deal about Northampton getting PUNISHED for ALLOWING a player to play a test match. I can't believe English Premiership Rugby is able to do such things.

Even more so because the story I read implied that Northampton wouldn't have been punished if George North had played for England.

How the hell does a union get THAT rule on their books in this day and age?

But no matter where O'Connor opted to be after his contract with Irish ends in May, Smith predicted it would only be a pit stop before he followed his "heart" and joined a Super Rugby franchise in January 2015.
The problem with this statement is none of the Super Rugby franchises want to offer Judas a contract...apart from perhaps the Force but that is now debateable

I'll take that ? as rhetorical. I know you are not naive about Rugby politics, weight of numbers and self interest. But you're on the money with the incredulity.

Not entirely rhetorical, surely there's some government funding being channelled towards the RFU the government of Great Britain should look out for the interest of all member countries.

I think the force contract will still be on the table with the same anti-douche clauses as before
