I always hold out hope that a bloke can sort his shit and become honorable......unfortunately, the more I hope for it, the less some (like JOC) deliver

If it is true it could become very interesting
Nothing a few million Euros in the bank account couldn't cure, I'm sure!

when JOC was offered a spot by the Force, it was a matter of soon, next week, in a couple of days etc etc.He then makes a big announcement to the Force and the rest of the world he's off to London Irish and talks are well advanced. I hate to say it, I was a big fan of his, but the self-centred prick was just playing us along. He can't possibly have had any intention of coming here if his other talks were well advanced. An alcoholic can stop drinking but what does an arsehole do?

    In the West today:

Sacked Wallaby James O'Connor has indicated he's still considering a bid to play for Australia at the 2015 Rugby World Cup despite reports he's agreed to join French club Toulon next season

And judging by all the shopping Bridget's been doing in the West End, I think she's loving the London life even more than Irish love him! Guess JOC's credit card is getting a good old workout!

To me it looks as if he is burning his European bridges as well with statements like this

"O'Connor insists that Toulon head coach Bernard Laporte was premature in announcing he'd agreed to join the defending European champions in the 2014-15 season, linking with fellow Wallaby exile Matt Giteau."
