This tragic article should be required reading for all players at all levels, as well as all coaches, referees, and parents of young players.

After seeing a clearly concussed George Smith re-take the field during the Lions series, something more has to be done about better understanding the consequences of concussion and preventing any player returning to the field after a bad head knock. No sport (or any other job for that matter) is worth ruining or losing your life over.
