Just watched the repeat of the Tasman v Hawkes Bay championship final.

Excellent game. Tasman's defence in the 2nd half was outstanding. They were 26-20 up in to the last minute. Hawkes Bay then scored a length of the field try in the corner. They missed the conversion.

A few Force ex & current players out there. Alby had a good game. Swanepoel came on for the Mako's in the 2nd half as did Chris Eaton for Hawkes Bay.

The Lions v Cantabs games just about to start. Few quiet beers & hopefully some equally as quiet kids!

if you have been to Wellington when the wind is howling off Cook Strait,bring the wind chill factor down to zero,the last place you want to be is sitting outside!

Saved his worst for last did Ihia, missed at least three easy kicks which would have sealed it for the Magpies

Have heard that The Rebels have made an offer to him to come to Oz as development player with a gold jumper at the end of the tunnel.

Canterbury v Wellington was a good display considering the conditions in wundy Wullington. Was really hoping the Lions would break the winning steak, but the Cantabs just have that ability to never ever give up, they always seem to find a way without panic. Hard to teach that stuff, only gained by experience and they had a heap of it. Well done yet again.

Best result from this season for me was Counties winning "The Log" for the first time ever and then defending it three or four times to be the holders during the off season. Well done to Tana and the boys
