If somebody is doing the BHP building can they find out what's with the big lump of steel at the top of the building. I've heard various stories but would like to find out what the real story is. It appears to be a very expensive fuck up to me.

Apparently it was a deliberate part of the design. Spoke to one of the design team about it last year. They thought it would appeal to BHP and would therefore give them the edge in the tendering process. Seems to have been the perfect strategy!Originally Posted by The EnForcer
