Be a lot better with more than 12 teams as well.

Is that what was happening down at Southern Lions after the Premier final?

All I know was it was some 7's comp?

Nah it's a world club comp in England at the moment. Brumbies are the only Aus team, Bulls, Stormers, Blues are also in it. A few UK, US and Russian teams as well. Only 12 teams but its it first year so hopefully it'll get bigger.

It'll be better once they get some regional qualifying tournaments happening. England already has its summer Premiership 7s series for instance.

Brumbies claim inaugural World Club Sevens title

It wasn't the silverware they set out to win this year, but the ACT Brumbies are celebrating nonetheless after claiming the inaugural World Club Sevens title overnight.

Two weeks after falling short in the Super Rugby final, the Brumbies claimed a 17-14 victory in the final against the Auckland Blues in London. (I believe it was actually Auckland, not the Blues.)
