Just for the record and i will finish it here Dublin is the Capital city of Ireland ,Ireland is a Country. The U.K is made up of England, Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland tfour other countries this is also Known as Britain,Ireland is not part of this hence the British and Irish (as in Ireland) Lions.
You seem to have spent all your time in the history class and missed out on Geography .How was your holiday to Bali this year.
Good luck on Saturday i will be watching the game as a neutral and hope it as as entertaining as the last two matches. If you are in Sydney we should catch up for a pint i will be in the Orient on Friday arvo ,The one with the red shirt ,red beanie and red scarf on.
    Again good luck,no hard feelings

yeah, I knew someone would pull up on that, but, again, in lighthearted banter, its never best to let detail get in the way of a jab, hence why I dropped Dublin into brackets, it appeared easier than re-wording the sentence to suit the facts.
And if theres issue with my geography knowledge, feel free to drop a letter to my year 3 teacher, Mister Rose, courtesy of Mrs Michelle Parsons, Station Rd, Clutton, Bristol. BS39 5RA, England. I doubt he'd still be teaching there though.

Mentally blocked probs! I haven't been back there since '97 (apart from a fleeting visit to Bath last year!)

Well, to be a real pedant, when Britain was sending it's convicts to Australia, Ireland was part of Britain, and Dublin was considered the 2nd city of Britain. Ireland didn't get indepence until the 1920s.

Yeah, but none of ours are against the Poms. It makes playing historical moral outrage so easy. Not playing to this advantage would be like them not playing to their scrum when they know its superior to ours.

PS If anyone can think of a case of Aussie atrocity against Poms please let me know. Would love to think that we finally got them back one. Not sure maybe offloading Germaine Greer onto them counts.

May be wrong sheik but I don't think the IRB had an office in Dublin before the Easter rising but thanks for your input
