    Worst rugby injury

Sitting here after surgery for snapping a 10cm chunk of bone off my pelvis from a decent tackle and wanted to hear what other bizarre/painful injuries you've incurred playing rugby.

I was very fortunate,in the 40 odd years from a 6 year old through to a golden oldie, the worst injury was a broken foot, but I suppose stress fractures in my back still,I will continue to,affect me

small price to pay for years of fun(on & off,the paddock)

Like Gunny, nothing too serious physically. A couple of dislocations, shoulder and ankle. The long term bouts of recurring functioning alcoholism seem to be incurable but.

Remarkably injury-free when playing rugby, although I never really played past school.

Several minor injuries cycling, fractured shin and toes playing soccer, broken a couple of ribs go-karting (big crash!), and dislocated hip playing American football

magical, text book slide, hand out in front, head up, soft landing... only catch, it was at the half-way mark (no where near the try line) after my 33 year old legs told my 18 year old brain that I cant run 'that' fast...

Heart strain from too many edge of the seat Force game finishes.

(This is the best I could do having never actually played)

Probably the hang over following the Force's first win in Queenstown after 20 odd cans of Speights at the game and a few pints of Guinness in town with the boys after
