Looking forward to the match against the Tah's

Going be a great rugby week in our house Lions game Wednesday training Thursday carnival on Saturday and the force against the tahs on Sunday which I have organised for all the lads from both of the Under 9 teams at my sons club to go and watch as a team bonding exercise and an excuse for the dads to have a knees up

Volavola will play 15, done it before and they are ok for 10
Carter will play 12 and that can only be good for us,
They're short a 13 and I can't see anyone who has done that before. Drew might be worth a crack at it unless they've got some dark horse from the Shute shield.

They need a prop and a lock, with the Maddness coming back, they'll need a bloody good lock, better than Skelton, that's for sure!

Judging by who was named today for the Lions game and the team which has run out the last couple of weeks I'm guessing the 22 for the Tahs game to look something like the following?

    1. Cowan
    2. Tessman
    3. Longbottom
    4. McMeniman
    5. Wykes
    6. Hodgson
    7. Alcock
    8. McCaffrey
    9. Mathewson
    10. Ebersohn
    11.
    12. Godwin
    13. Jacobs
    14. Dellit
    15. Hayward

    16. Whittaker
    17. Faulkner
    18. Walton
    19.
    20. Snowdon
    21.
    22.

Stanley and Tupou are injured yes?

    UT, not a bad team.
I'd suggest either Stubbs gets a half-time rest against the Lions, or Rasolea is only used for injury cover, and whoever does the least work gets the nod at 11.
16, is Whittaker injured? If so, Hilterbrand gets the nod (Tessman often plays the full 80).
19 would be Brown/Cottrell (whoever recovers best)
21/22, I'd say probably SNK and maybe the other of Stubbs/Rasolea, or go with a 5-2 bench and have Brown & Cottrell both. Foley has used a 5-2 bench quite often this season.

Shame there isn't an AFL game at Subi this weekend - I'd love the Lions and Force to rip up the ground!

He was fit enough to win himself a red card playing for Cott the weekend before last...
