I can't believe it! I've missed only 3 home games since 2008 and 2 have been wins!

I spent last night in bed with cups of tea, strepsils and ESPNScrum on the laptop wondering what was going on and if Happy had hacked the site!

SNK controlled the possession we had well, but did rush off the line twice looking for an intercept. It created holes the Crusaders exploited - one led to a try, the other almost did.

Scrum and lineout were way below par.

Rasolea has stamped his mark in the centres, but I hope he's not injured.

We looked like we had a game plan. We didn't commit too many to the rucks, unless we were there very early in the contest area. That left us with lots of cattle out wide to snuff out the side to side Crusader raids.

I have to say, though, that the way they controlled possession, phase after phase, left to right and back again, with the skill set of both backs and forwards - it's a lesson for us. Seems that when we did get possession we'd panic after 2 or 3 phases and kick it away.

Mighty, mighty defence though. I had been dreading another gallant close loss, but as my sore head attests, a glorious win for us to build on.

Anyone know of the injury toll? Wykes, Junior, et al?

Well bugger me! Didn't go to the game and they fahken bowl over the saders. I'll eat humble pie as well. SNK smart game and hodgo brilliant. Great to see some positive flowing rugby. Helps when the ref lets the game flow as well. Touch judges need a good bollocking as well.

His lucky pink undies didn't come off for him

    - lost to the force
    - drunk on watered down lite beer
    - locked up
    - didn't get laid
    - criminal record
    - won't be attending live rugby again in his lifetime

If you are going to invade the pitch, you have to make it count

Was at the game last night..sensational...but missed Walton's reaction...just saw it on youtube...its always great to see a player looking like they care as much as we the supporters do

Bring on the Hurricanes...Foley looks like he might do something for us much to my surprise(happily!)!

Magnificent to see the Crusaders number 12 grab him and spin him round to dump him into the ground for security to deal. He could have done so much more damage, mildly disappointed he didn't. It was potentially the highlight of my evening.

Walton's passion was fantastic, SNK was a very pleasing turn around from last week. Absolutely stoked with the win.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Walton looks like he'd scare a few.

There was some inspiring backline selections. Rasolea was magnificent in the centres and his defensive structure with Godwin was very solid. Ed Stubbs was very good and made several try saving smashes.

    Sam 2-dads at 10 had a blinder.

The defence won them the match. I still can't believe they held them out.
Rory Walton scared the bejesus out of me!
