At last we are trying something different. Not sure about dropping Sias. Where is HB? We could use him! Looking forward to see Junior at OC. C'mon boys, lets take this scalp!!

Hopefully Sias will come on if Norton-Knight throws around some shit. Finally we get to see Stubbs which should be interesting. I thought they might use Alcock in the back row and put McCalman in at lock for McMeniman. It's a pity Cowan and Faulkner are both looseheads really, I like both of their open-field running.

On a side note, anyone remember when Pat Dellit was a hard-running midfielder busting through the advantage line?

I am guessing they are holding out on the 22 to see if the HB is fit.

The best place for ma'afu is the lineup for kranskys. Our game has been much better when alcock and Browny has started. Sorry Hodgo. Why do we keep employing has beens like SNK?

Alcock should start - no brainer. Against the Saders we need speed/foragers at the breakdown or there will be turn over a plenty - McCalman doesn't have the pace. Their clear outs are a massive strength...

Do you think Wykes at lock is better then McCalman though? I was a bit concerned about Wykes's ball-running, he seems to be static/flat-footed.

Larkham's fingerprints all over that one.

We have the ponies to thank that, whatever happens tomorrow, we won't be bottom of the table.

The big Mac's work rate is fantastic every game. Tackling, taking the ball up, ... Wykes doesn't have the power or strength that Benny Mac has.

Alcock's speed is an asset, but we also need big hitters to challenge and cleanout at the breakdown.

Junior in the centres is a surprise - I know he can run, but I sure hope he can tackle....

Can't say I'm disappointed Stanley and Dellit are out.

Changes are good, but the sheer number smacks of mild panic....

Yeah, we'll have to be generous with our expectations regarding combinations and fluency. I just hope what we see from 1 to 15 is endeavour and a bit of intelligence. They've got some good structures, it's just that some of the stuff between the ears needs sorting out. Good luck to them, an unlikely win over NZ opposition in Perth in front of a partisan fair-weather Kiwi crowd is always something to lift the spirits of the smattering of us in blue in the stands.
