Too early to open the champagne, but Australian conference is bubbling

"The key to the relative health of the Australian conference is the Waratahs and the Force.
Why? Because last year, neither side could find a single victory against Kiwi sides in a total of eight games, a losing record that helped shape an overall Australian winning rate of just 35 per cent from the 20 trans-Tasman conference games.
Michael Cheika's side is still adjusting to the demands of their new game plan, but they are at least putting themselves in positions to break down defences.
The Force have accumulated just one win but can offset that by pointing out they have had just a single home game. And had they, and not NSW, been the beneficiaries of a $400,000 ARU handout to buy a back who can win his one-on-ones, they might well have left Sydney with four points on Sunday.
Alby Mathewson is running the show expertly and they probably have the form second-rower in Australia, although Hugh McMeniman's occasional moments of ill-discipline will need to be reined in if the Wallabies come knocking. Regardless, the Force have the ability to make the trips to Perth a potentially tricky one for all the sides that travel there."

I reckon his discipline has been pretty damn good. he gave a dubious penalty for a shoulder charge, other than that clean as a whistle.

He is definately going great guns! hope he stays healthy!
