Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

Today's Saffa is tomorrow's Aussie mate. These guys do not stuff around in getting PR and citizenship and calling themselves Aussie. Unlike some other people who's nationality shall remain un-named, suffice to say we thrashed them in the cricket and bowled underarm to the other lot a long time ago.

Seems to have a bit of toe for a bloke who plays the bulky forward role that he does.

Nice to have another bloke in the squad that will take it personally when HB hits the ball up the guts.

Said in a previous post that his playing style is very similar to Chris Alcock. Fast to the break down, strong in the ruck and there in support. Magic Durban born flankers.
Looking to be a nicely spread squad, with depth everywhere.
Tucks in nicely with Hodgo, Alcock, MMM, McCalman and Walton in the flanker/back rowers.
The squad is looking really good, hats off to Foley, and welcome aboard Brynard.

Saw the one and only Nathan Sharpe at Cottesloe today - let's hope he's in town to help with lineout training at the Force :-))

    Ping Hertryk!!

I was just doing some quick thinking about likely starting lineup.

I think Hodgo could struggle to start.

    Here's where my mind went

Maddness and Steenkamp will be the locks, no doubt
    That leaves the back row
Chris Alcock and Benny Mac are shoe ins at the start of the year, leaving one spot.... If Bynard Stander is as good as his highlight reel suggests, he would be the man for #8 and that would push McCalman to 6. Leaving no room for Hodgo.

That's a bloody talented flanker on the bench, and I haven't even thought about the second row.

As well as having Cottrel waiting in the wings.

I agree with you lock combo and would have wykes on the bench but he needs to have a big season offer some impact when he come on if not I'd go for Walton.

Matt Hodgson has to start end of!

If there are more ''talented'' players than him I don't care as his leadership passion and sheer will to win is greater than anyone else currently playing for the Force and even in the Australian Conference

Massive fan of Hodgo at captain. And having Pek and Alby as vices (IMO), gives the Force such a opportunity to roll the loosies as required, keeping the speed, abrasiveness and muscle at full bore. Securing and creating turn over ball.
