Ollie is a Perth boy through and through and loyal to WA to the core :-)))
He was offered a 40 000 dollar EPS contract with the rebels but turned it down because he wanted to learn off Foley. The force offered him a 15 000 dollar contract and he took it for the above reason.Another local player in the same boat was offered same deal but played hardball and got his 40 g's.Ollie might be a good player but I reckon he'd be a shit poker player

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Hopefully that loyalty will be rewarded down the track.

Have we completely denuded the high veldt of players yet? Do we have other spots available for foreigners? Though I think we should now be arguing that SA is an extension of WA.

What about Timo Swiel in the place of JOC? He's an up and comer with a good turn of pace and decent boot and can play across the backline. Still developing and is not yet locked into a national setup.

Luckily he is playing rugby and showing great loyalty to a team that he has trained with since he was 15... At this stage of his "career" its about getting better. The money will come if he is good enough.

Just noticed that Matt Hodgson's position on the Team photos on RugbyWA has been changed to Loose Forward (#8) - same as Ben McCalman. I hadn't noticed this before.
Hodgo has scored tries for WF and Wallabies from this position.

Chris Alcock listed at #7 and Angus Cottrell as #6.

Very strong Back Row with Hodgo the replacement #7 and Ben the replacement #6.

The attrition rate for Back Rowers is high. Maybe the plan is to play MMM at #6 if required.
All Back Row options looking good.

Maybe we need another Back Rower to make up our 30??

Has Kyle Godwin always been shown as Flyhalf?

Godwin was certainly listed as flyhalf last season.

So given that squads had to be finalised yesterday. Do we have a full roster? Or are we one player short?

Perhaps they're leaving it vacant until May?

Rocky Elsome may be looking for a new home. If his body is right i wouldnt mind him coming here and he does have a link with Foley. IMO we do need another back rower.
