MODS: This could be a great information thread for those of us who are not aligned with any particular metro club, as well as those who are, but watch when work or whatever permits. It's good to know who might be playing for the teams when we do make it.

Any chance the personal attacks can be deleted ASAP after they appear? They are olny there to provoke a reaction.

How do you know it's a "trila" before they've even played?

Couldn't glean too much out of it but Chris Tutara Morrison had some nice touches.Neddies new no 8 is a handy type and they have some real speed out wide. The boys got a good blow out and again it reinforces the view that the playing standard between 1st and 2nd is massive.Uni next weekend

Neddies gave Wests-whatever-they-call-themselves-this-week a real touch up yesterday.

    Go Neddies

Well Wests backline in 2011 was probably the best W.A premier grade has ever seen, I hope they're working there way back to that sort of calibre for 2013/14.

Westie I hear that West will not have a U18's team this year how true is this ??

Wanneroo looks set to apply to have a second U18 team with good numbers at U20 as well

Wanneroo will be playing Palmyra in pre season games on the 23rd of March However the Pally U18's and U20 are going camping so they will not participate in the pre season games

Wanneroo must be doing all the right things in their Colts program (18s & 20s) to be attracting new players year in year out and with them driving past several other clubs to don their Jersey. Good on them.

From what I here only Mandurah, UWA and Wanneroo have good numbers for 18s and most clubs are seriously struggling in this department.

So we have all the cream floating to the top (Roos) which is fine but what for the milk?.....

I tell you - they're lost to our game and RWA stated, to spread players throughout clubs at 18s level NO club will be permitted to have TWO 18s team this year as part of their initiative to solve player attrition rates at this level.

Roo-dogs will be unbeatable in 18s for 2013 - again they must have a very good structure in place.

The reason the under 18 comp is in this mess and continuing to trend downwards is that Uni was allowed to rape and pillage the age group last year. Clubs as far away as Joondalup were impacted.

The impact will be felt for 3-4 years.

2013 Under 18 Competition is shaping up as:

    Wanneroo
    Uni
    Baysie
    Kala
    Paly
    Mandurah

    ie 6 teams!

Joondalup, Wests, Southern Lions, Rocky and Soaks look highly unlikely.

Nedlands and Cott definitely will not have under 18's.

If Uni were struggling for numbers you may seem some action ; they are the protected ones.
