Superugby Australian team of the week (rnd 1)

    Questionable team!

Beale at 10? he was average at best, ill disciplined and often at the bottom of a penalised breakdown.

Rathbone?!?! what the hell? I actually turned to my girlfriend and asked her if she had seen him get subbed off, he was non-existant!

Good to see Mafi and Godwin recognised though.

Somehow the Sydney Morning Herald managed to have the Waratahs playing and 8 managed to get into the team of the week including Chris Alcock.

I would have thought, with the mess that scrums were in the Brums Reds match, that there would have been at least one front rower included from Friday's game.

Also, Higginbotham was absent, and carded, how did he get named?

Beale was Better than Cooper or Toomua, so if it's an Australian team of the week, maybe Sam Christie misses out because he's not eligible for the Wallabies?

"Christie played New Zealand Schools, including their 20-16 win over Australian Schoolboys in Christchurch. Christie is Australian-eligible through his Adelaide-born father".

Christies showed more than Beale and he's Tokoroa Tumeke-Aussie to the hilt.

Give him a Wallabies jersey against Sean Maitland and Co, 'The Australasian & S.A Lions this June.'

    BUGGER!!!

This post on The Roar mislead me horribly then!

Sadly the New Zealander, Sam Christie, was probably the best fly half on show this weekend. Please, please give James O’Connor the no 10 shirt at the Rebels!

It really sucks when our boys are ignored by the Eastern States deliberately, but it hurts more when it's in attention and lack of research!

I wonder how hard it was not to pick Cotterell over Kimlin, they played to different styles.

I thought Faulkner played better than Pek, but Slipper was no slouch when you look at the stats.
