You gotta be kidding. Link sits in the front office. He recruited Richard Head he is responsible for their performances. Many people think he should be parachuted into Robbie Deans' job. I'm reserving judgement. I still think that the foundations of the past couple of years' successes were laid by Phil Mooney.

Nick RG (with our blessing) mid season and may you choke on it - Never really liked Link and I wonder how long it will be before the knives come out as the fans realise that the Reds will not be all conquering this year if RG sucks the life out of them. OTOH - the Brumbies were nothing to right home about either.

What would they know about the young squad he put together at The Reds? And what does that have to do with anything? He was also the bloke who got Daniel Braid to the Reds.

I don't know much about his time at Otago except that the results didn't arrive and that he was not allowed to recruit the players he wanted. Maybe the second is a reason for the first?

A record of 4 wins from 26 games speaks for itself.No coach is allowed to recruit all the players he wants but you make do with what you have because it's your job to get them up to scratch.
