No mention of Hayward in the squad ?
Is he injured or just not performed well in the 2 trials ?

That is what I was thinking, I thought he was in line for #12. I also prefer the backrow I think from the first trial with McCalman at 6 and McCaffrey at 8 and Wykes impact from the bench. Team as follows:

    1 Pek
    2 Charles
    3 longbottom
    4 Lynn
    5 MMM
    6 McCalman
    7 Alcock
    8 McCaffrey

    9 Matthewson
    10 Ebersohm
    11 Mafi
    12 Hayward
    13 CTM
    14 Cummins
    15 Tupou

    16 Maafu (prefer Manu)
    17 Teesman
    18 Wykes
    19 Brown/Cottrell
    20 Snowden
    21 Godwin
    22 Dellit/Rasolea

    Very unlucky - Brown/Cottrell, Dellit/Rasolea, Maafu/Manu, Stubbs, Christie.

Without going to Darwin, and with no program to reference in Mandurah, my impression is that 12 has been pretty much CTM and Kyle in the trials. Hayward didn't figure strongly AFAIK so maybe he's locked the position up and they were looking to the bench in the trials, or maybe he's hurt.

    We'll know Friday I guess

I don't know if it was Tupou, but one of the players who lined up there on Friday night certainly is a fullback! Great kicking, not afraid to counterattack save under the high ball and picked up a meat pie as I recall.

if its the player in the first half your talking about then yes it was Tupou he scored the try in the corner at the far end near the road.

Sam Christie can't play. Where's Sam Wykes? Who's cover for Alby? Hodgo is injured.

Manu is also on the EPS. Two props? No scrum half backup?

Anybody no why Brown, Cowen & Cummins didn't take the field on friday. Rested, injured, available, unavailable?

If you have a look at the highlights video you can see Brown do a nice bust up the field to start a try scoring movement.
