Lots of Aranmore alumni in that list - must have a great rugby programme - well done them :-)

Not bad for a Mungo school.

I am sure that Aranmore run a scholarship for Rugby so it would stand to reason that alot of the player that make representative sides would come from that school

Interesting spread of clubs. Very few central club players... mainly outer suburbs and lots of non-prem club players.

Check this out. How many of us had the choice of rugby as a subject at school! What a treat.... Seems to be working well for Aranmore and more importantly RugbyWA - kudos to them.

Wow! That's fantastic! And as Peter said earlier, they even have a rugby scholarship! It would be great to see this expanded across other schools too - state as well as private. And with so many Brits and South Africans now living in Perth I'm sure a lot of parents would be interested.

Well done to all concerned as posted above a lack of the big name schools like the Hale and trinity colleges who get the privlage of hosting touring sides >>> Maybe Rugby WA rethinks this and gives the
other schools a chance ... Correct me if I am wrong but I do remember training runs for SA and England touring camps and training at these 2 colleges ...

Gain well done lads and also what about a curtain raiser to some force games to watch these lads

You're right Tonkar. During RWC2003, England used Hale as their training base!

not sure, but i think psa schools arent allowed to give sports scholarships.

Hale has probably got some of the biggest south african academics ever

Such a shame that the players from Aranmore are only allowed to play club rugby for Wests and not clubs close to where they lived or played their early Rugby prior to going to Aranmore.

There are Aranmore students playing at outer suburb rugby clubs if that is near where they live.
For many the choice of club is convenience and where their friends are.
