Probably Perth Diving Academy. Your PADI cert should still be valid, why don't you just go for a shallow dive with a friend who has some experience, practise all the basics etc and relearn your dive tables. That should be enough.

Also if you do do a refresher course just double-check where they actually do it. You want to do it somewhere decent, flat with good vis.

And carry a knife. You can stab your buddy if a shark approaches you.

It's ages since I did my PADI (and since I last went diving too come to think of it) so I'd really like to do a proper course. Would like to do the open water part of it at Rotto (boat dive rather than a shore dive).

I did the PADI through Dolphin Dive. Really liked it. Very friendly and outgoing staff. They are based around Fremantle.

i did mine at Perth Diving Academy after learning how to do it on the Cray boat growing up. they taught me how to do it properly

the busselton jetty is a great dive!

rotto is always great as well.

anywhere around exmouth is just awesome. that's my favourite place to dive.

i second Zed too - always have a knife!!!
