Folau had a shocker! - let in the first try by holding back, fell off tackles and dropped the ball, never really went looking for action - overall a timid performance from a man who looked very unsure of himself. The Badger would be pleased.

    Izzy will be fine.

The bloke has all the skills. he just has to learn the game. backpedalling 5m from your line as the last line of defence gave the coach a training program for him for this week. That was poor but just showed he doesn't know what to do

The Tahs beat themselves. Poor ball security and some very bad tackling at times. It was their first hit out. There was a lot to like about the performance and in particular the fight back. I thought Foley was outstanding at 10.

The first 20 minutes of the second half was very good. hanging on in the first half when they were fatigued and getting run off their feet showed great character.

They will be a lot better next week. The Reds were much better than last week.

It was good to see some attacking intent

Ball security from both sides was pretty shocking. Wet?

He's the attack coach but he won't get credit. This result was the Mungo's fault. Apparently.

Our new Wallaby is crap! Can't pass, can't tackle, can't take a tackle!
Lets just hope Dingo has some say on selection.
Izzy is going to need a season before he should even be considered.

Folau had a pretty forgettable one, but the main question I was left with was "what is the point of Tom Carter?" Their scrummie had a silent "S" as well...

Truth be told, I thought both looked pretty creaky without much ball flow. The 'Tahs really did look like pre-season skills drills were optional though. They'd want to be better for the run.

not saying that Shasta, but you can scale the ivory tower if you like.

I was just delighted to see the hype shoved back where it belongs when the rookie played like a rookie.

if the Israel media machine start to treat him as an exciting prospect rather than God's gift to rugby I'll be a lot happier and start to cheer for him.

it'll be easier on my heart than cheering for the force
