    Not that I'm surprised.
    Maybe the next Rudd!
He had ethical balls. Gillard hasn't.

Once you've put him out of work and he starts to starve, you demand that food aid and assistance be sent to his nation.

Well this is obviously the start of Pocock's political career. Based in Canberra with his very political wife they will become the poster children for some group or other. I wonder how long it takes for his ethics to either diminish or alienate the major political parties. Maybe the next Bob Brown?

Very easy to take a moral stance if you can afford it. I think there are a few bigger twats out there to take BBs position but you'd have to think that where he's heading. As Billy Connolly eloquently stated a few years back- "the desire to become a politician should instantly disqualify you from becoming one". I'm surprised he's dicking about with the small stuff and doesn't just contact the Indian Government to ask why they spend US$35 Billion on defence (almost $5 Billion on nukes) and rely on Cantebury etc to feed their poor. Apparently they've stopped running around in Nikes now, which makes them much slower getting to the Telstra help desks...

I've always thought it interesting that for such a staunchly independent woman and ardent feminist, Mrs P was quite happy to take her husband's name......

Many of the 'fairly hardcore Christians' in my church would dispute that.
