If that was the case I wonder how the good citizens of Joondalup feel about their money being wasted on a club to source a coach.

Brothers received another 15,000 in 2010, in the form of a Sports Development Grant from the City of Joondalup, this payment was additional to the Clubhouse facility being built at the time.

Beg to differ there Wanneroo will most probably be the biggest club in Perth in 2013. This will be junior and senior clubs. Wanneroo also has the ability in 2013 to have 2 U18 teams with around 30 in each team and the same in U20
Wanneroo had the following teams in the top 4 of each competition
    U20
    U18 Premiers
    4th grade
    Woman Premiers

    Juniors Gold
    U16 won the comp
    U15 1 team
    U13 Minor prems
    U12 Prems

    Swan
    U14 played in swan finals
    U11 Swan Prems

You actually beat me to it.
After I had sent that post I did some quick research and had a quick rethink.
Not only are Wanneroo looking strong in that 16s, 18s 20s bracket for the future but players are drifting from the Brothers to the Dogs aren't they, and other clubs I'm hearing. And who can blame them.
The Dogs, from what I've heard have got plans in for clubroom extensions and the new coach, after a first year that took him by surprise, will be taking a whole new club into 2013.

When you hear of junior championship winning coaches leaving Brothers for other clubs then you know there is a problem ( and I am sure they will take players with them)

Are you talking about the Baysie Prems coach who was shafted last week?

Glad I'm with Neddies where money is not a problem.

Yea I heard there is some movements coach wise at Baysie Dean got the sack and JT Taylor is back as Head Coach for the senior prems in 2013 Roumor has it that Donny Stevenson - maori all black rugby coach - Is also involved with Baysie in 2013

I always thought that was on the cards, and that is not a criticism.

A lot of the ex-Joondalup guys head for TTFKAW (the team formerly known as Wests) or Uni, purely for the coaching. There will be a few from the 18's gone this season, and no 20's for the others. Wanneroo on the other hand have had good 20's the last few years and the 18's this year were superb. Good all round strength, and I think putting KK in charge was a great idea, the players played for him, and he did the coaches job of getting the most out of them. On the plus side a decent size bucket of chips wont bankrupt you either.
