No way. That would be confusing - and I like them.

The semi-colon will definitely confuse the hoopleheads.

The difference between its and it's.

It's is short for "it is". The apostrophe should only be inserted when the words "it is" can be substituted for "it's".
Its refers to something belonging to an object or being designated as "it". Its also refers to a group of objects or beings designated as "it".

In referring to to the Waratahs it's apparent that its organisation contains many fools that deserve pitying.

    Coming soon:
Tthe correct use of the interrobang.

You haven't heard of the interrobang‽

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

Surely everyone is already aware of the correct use of the interrobang‽

I'd have thought that we'd be better served with more examples of the dreaded apostrophe; why do people feel the need to use an apostrophe simply because there's an 's' at the end of a word?
