Please watch out for the apostrophe lesson to see where you may have erred in this post

(Spelling lessons probably required as well)

Considering Exile's drinking dos and do nots (or Do's and Do nots) thread:

    Correct punctuation?
    Capitalisation?
(Or even capitalization; how about one on Americanisations?)
(Considering the above; one on making up new words?)

Your - something relating to a person.
You're - short for "you are".
Yore - a time long past.
Yaw - adequately described by SB

You're welcome to your own opinion about the yaw produced by ships of yore even though it's wrong.

    Begin rant.

When doing recruitment at work I will throw out any cv that has an American spelling in it before I do any other shortlisting. If you're too stupid to change the spell check on Word to English (UK) or English (Australia) then you don't deserve to be employed. I just want a little bit of professionalism out of these fools (whom I pity).

    Rant over.
