Uni match report - an exercise in humility

Truly gracious in defeat.. and I have to add there were no 1st, 2nd or 3rd graders playing. Mainly blokes in their 30s, 40s and 50s who have been there from the start of the season. No loading the team, no ring-ins, no unregistered players, no ex Perth Gold players, no Wallabies - just a team that showed a bit more ticker than Uni's star studded team. And now I think it would be quite apt to quote Nelson Muntz:

    "HA HA!!"

don't think they had many 2nd graders in that side against Uni,as wanneroo 2nd grade gave Nedlands a good run for their money

UWA's prems side thought they'd be in for a training run on saturday down Forrestfield way. Look what happened.

    Haw Haw

Watching from the sidelines it very evident that UWA were in shock about what Kala threw at them. Kala played the best rugby i've seen them play this year. Some really entertaining stuff. UWA looked shell shocked even they're supporters were unusually quiet. (or is that quite). Refereeing was good all day. They do a fantastic job the referees. Even the one who called the ball bouncing on it's end and going back in the direction of the kicker a knock-on. That one favoured Kala 3rds.

Great result for Kala, especially after their tough season.

Seems to me this is a standard match report biased in favour of the team from whence the correspondent comes. Also a large dose of "tongue-in-cheek" and wit, or attempts thereat.

Completely harmless puff mainly for the entertainment of the Uni faithful.

May have been written 'tongue in cheek' but still sore loser undercurrents looking for every excuse as to why they lost, giving no credit to opposition at all.Typical Uni Rah Rahs

Are people really having a whinge at this? wow! get a grip. I have and will again write tongue in cheek match reports, that have little to no relation to fact of the match.

They are, like ecky said, for the entertainment of the Uni boys.

who wants to live in a world where the local club newsletter has to be boring rubbish. It is a bunch of blokes running around, then getting plastered.

if this offends you, be strong, and you will survive!
