Any sport that relies on a group of middle aged people that provide a score and then you have to drop the top and bottom scores and then multiply by the degree of dificulty twice and then blah blah blah the length of a Bulls Scrotum divided by the blah de blah blah yawn and then commentated by some old age chick you have never heard of but seems to get rolled out for every single Olympics.

I agree that it shouldn't be in the Olympics, but synchronised swimming does require incredible core strength, fitness and agility so shouldn't be dismissed altogether as a sport.

The flying trapeze also requires all of those attributes, doesn't make it a sport.

(yes, I could have come up with more creative options, but it's Sunday!)

Anything which is decided by "I like that one better than the other one" is not a sport - no matter how clever it is ..... or ballet is also sport. And don't even mention ballroom dancing...........

I understand your point, but they are actually my favorite sports. Watch them with the sound off so your not influenced by the announcers. Even though you may know nothing about the sport or it's rules it usually very easy to pick the winner.

    What I saw on TV...

Well over the past weeks I've watch guys rowing backwards in a straight-line, then a bunch of guys rowing forwards in a straight-line... so what! Surely they can do this in one event and row back to the start line... ... and the to top it off a bunch of 7 guys rowing in a straight line which is just plain lazy, how many guys does it really take to row a boat, some these guys were just taking the piss surely! ... I must say lay down Sally knew this and stopped when she saw how futile its all was…

I watched a bunch a skirts with pony tails and sticks chasing a small ball whacking it at another girl dressed in a Halloween costume…… Brrrrr BUT this was by far my all time favourite... Like an action movie, sexy violence with costume.... seen Batman

I saw weight lifters with short arms fit more easily than those with long arms... I saw small drivers maker smaller splashes than bigger drivers... go figure

I watch a bunch of disinterested guys on bicycles riding around in a race where no body wanted to lead until the last moment when they could see the finished line... This rather reminded me of our politicians closing in on a the 2013 election… no one wants to lead too early...

I watch a bunch of white guys chasing and bunch of black guys around a track, I gather this was a popular event as I saw this race many times... same result, black dance after winning without drugs!...

I saw guys shooting at a 10 meter target with a AIR riffle... jezz you think at least it should be a moving with target... And use some real firepower…

AND you know these aren’t even the lame Olympics apparently that comes next week… I cant wait...

Muddy I am hoping that this is an attempt at humour that just missed.

To call the Para-Olympics the lame Olympics. Mate I dunno but it feels like it crosses a line.

Very disappointed in those who think Synchronised Swimming is stupid, takes a lot more skill than running 100m.
