    There are two of the things which remind me of the one-eyed aliens from the Simpsons:

    Wenlock (red), after Much Wenlock, the small (and slightly mad) village which holds an annual games, and has done since 1850, and

    Mandeville (blue), after Stoke Mandeville, the village which held the first forerunner of the Paralympics.
