I rate Alcock. He's a good ball carrier. Still would have prefferred to develop Cottrell and mcCaffrey but I suspect Cottrell is a possible runner back to Queensland if things start working for him and given the oppurtunity. The Reds team song is that good!
Happy or Gunny may correct me here, but wasn't it Cottrell we saw meet up with Laurie Fisher in Darwin after the very first pre-season match?

Not that I blame him - the chance to learn a nugget or two of information from, or even just to establish contact with, Fisher has got to help a young gun in his career.

why would he go back to QLD now that Gill and Schatz have emerged?

No point going to Brums, Pocock Veaua Faingaa Mowen are there.

    Rabble would like him.

Hodgo and Brown are heading towards the ends of their careers not the beginning. He is better off staying here.

Cotterell's manager was certainly "pressing the flesh" up there.

    No Higgenbotham.
Im suspicious seeing as he was a reds fanboy in the crowd at suncorp when the reds beat the crusaders in the final. We saw Hooper do the exact thing to play for the tahds. Given the oppurtunity i think he would jump at the chance to play for queensland to be close to family , reduced load from travelling and to sing that reds song.

Elton John's coming to Perth in November-do you think he'll sing the reds song at his concert?
