    Brumbies set to snare Pocock

And then there was this coming from Gowden!

There is very strong mail coming from the west that Force skipper David Pocock will sign with the Brumbies. His partner, Emma Palandri, was in Canberra during the week being shown the sights and it looks certain the stand-in Wallabies skipper will take his talents to the national capital next season, especially considering his preferred choice as Force coach, Michael Cheika, is set to turn down the Perth franchise's overtures.

Maybe a last minute appeal from his fellow players during "mad monday" could help.

Didn't 'they' say earlier that Pococks preference was Mulvahill?

No one could begrudge him leaving after the farcical shambles that has taken place.

Is it really possible that we can stuff up retaining arguably the best openside in the world & getting a top class coach for our club in the space of a few days.

Jake White would not have had to do a lot of baiting to get him over... RugbyWA did all the work for him.

And as for all the meddlers (Horan you little weasel) and journos (Growden you c*nt) who think it's fair game to toy with OUR club, fu*kin shame on you.

The only good thing in Canberra is Porn and Fireworks - and call me crazy but David Pocock doesn't really strike me as the Porn or Fireworks type.

If he goes wish him well except for Force games but do not be like those miserable Reds supporters that vilified Sharpie. The Brumbies did the right thing with Gits (when he left the first time). Wished him well and enjoy the 'Firepower' dollars.

At the first ACT game v Force the Brumbies supporters were hardly wishing him well.
