Don't know what his form has been like but he was getting shunted in & out of Toulon at times because of their "import" quota when SBW, Contepomi, Lobbe & Johnnie Wilko were there.

I didn't know he was so unpopular. Most of our current players probably barely know him. IMO he's well and truly paid a heavy price for far less than some current Wallabies have done. I'd have him back tomorrow. He's 'ard. Dead set.

The salary cap is kind of irrelevant anyway isn't it? If the likes of JOC have lucrative contracts from other companies then it ends up as a bit of a loophole. The whole theory with QC leaving the Reds, was based on the fact they couldn't afford him, but in reality they could pay him $20k a year as long as someone else is sorting him out with the other 380k.

So we have Sias and Winston as development players already so really one more import. What's everyone thinking a halfback or an inside centre? Development or Marque?

Would be good to see another play-making inside centre recruited, alleviate pressure on the 5/8 a bit more.

Winston was born in brizzy so doesnt count as a development player so one more development player and a marqee to go.

Would be great but he'd have to be a marqee. Reckon he'd still have eyes on a 15's Bok jersey.

Have twins ever opposed in a Test? Here's hoping.

He has played 7s for SA does that count for him not being able to play for the Wobs?

i just checked and yes it does rule him out.

of a Union is not eligible to play for the senior fifteen-a-side National

I think games for the national side, sevens side or designated 'A' side make you ineligible to play for another country.
