Have Nick as forwards coach might even be appealling for a potential coaching candidate.

Surely amongst the dozens of cancellation and exit clauses in a modern sporting contract there would be a way of getting rid of him if required.

But I still think they must have at least THOUGHT about the new head coach in the process. Given the lack of any action at all in the Genia fiasco, I would think that the Force would have been quite safe to withdraw an offer given the circumstances.

Pure speculation, but the fact that there has been no news about the head coach position lately leads me to believe that it's an international-level coach, and they can't announce it until their matches are over. Which also leads me to believe that it's Scott Johnson. Probably more wishing and hoping, but that's my theory anyway!

It has nothing to do with it's an international-level coach, and they can't announce it until their matches are over. because they have only just started the interviews. You can't announce something or someone if you have not made a decision.

How do you know they've only just started the interviews? Are you on the panel?

At least I was overt in saying that it was speculation... You say it as if it were fact.

Maybe they have been holding out for our last home game to announce a new coach?

    ^^ This.

Wasn't there a recent article saying Pocock was going to be involved in the interview process for the final few candidates? He's been on international duty, so they can't have decided anything.

Unless that article was rubbish. Hang on, head hurts
