If he comes here I wish him all the best
Mate Larkham has worked wonders with that back line and worth every cent. Napotism is not always a bad thing especially when the person in question can perform or as is the case exceed the desired result/outcome.

I think you will find that Andy Friend has secured a great contract in Japan with The Canon team. His wife's health is being very well looked after by them and Andy has landed on his feet after a horror time. Good luck to him.

That sounds like great news for Andy Friend.

The problem for Andy at the Force is his Experience to Brumbies "player power" and the shenanigans to Mitchell at Force QuokkaGate FightClub and GitsGate, then the entire RG fiasco and ultimate player vote to sack him. An untenable situation for both parties.

It has been said many times, new coach has to be new broom, have kudos to attract quality, nous to develop existing players, vision to develop locals, and brains to instill a game plan that works and is attractive attacking non kicking to change the tide of the sea of blue

Lost interest and belief in anything RWA and the EWF board say or do (Genia a classic, Graham, Gits, JOC, list goes on..... crisis management they are small fry in a big industry and I think it is theIR credibility that is holding back good men and players coming to WA 2013 for the board I vote Sharpie

Didn't someone from RWA blab to Horan too early (although in confidence), who then decided to be a dick and tell everyone on twitter?

I can't stand the bloke anymore, stopped watching The Rugby Club (probably should've done that years ago) and if Horan is calling a game it gets muted.

But hasn't Genia come over to Perth, just not the Genia we were thinking of?

It was the QRU who put out the media release, deliberately! They knew he hadn't actually signed and that there was still time to change his mind. They knew there would be uproar among Reds fans when they found out and so they took a gamble that Genia would change his mind once the bogans started shouting. And it worked. And I for one am glad it did. Don't want a money-grabbing mercenary within a million miles of my team.

Not only that, it is illegal to make announcements until the contract is signed. Although only EWF actually gets in trouble, QRU (genia) and rabble (taps) wont even get a knuckle rap.

I find it hard to believe anyone in EWF would talk to Horan, the mans blood is Red %)

Not illegal, just contrary to ARU's arbitary rules, which means the ARU can enforce them whenever it suits them (or otherwise).
