My hope is that one of the main reasons he is here is the little chat Bam Bam had with him a few weeks ago when we played them over there.....sonething like this

DP - So Sais, why don't you come over and play rugby in Perth?
SE - Will you be there next year though Bam?
DP - Of course I will be, and I am a man of my word.
SE - But I really want to get to the top level
DP - Yeah I was the same, but when they gave me the opportunity I took it with both hands and now within a few years I have even played a RWC for the Wallabies and you to could getb that chance if you join us, you won't get it staying in SA.
SE - I guess you're right Bam, where do I sign?

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

It's sad but at some point you have to look at yourself. As a player I will always give my best and this move won’t influence the way I play.

It is disappointing to leave, especially when you realise they aren’t interested in you. I had high expectations of the season, and things didn’t always go as I wanted them to go. But there were promises of playing time made that never materialised. Goosen had a good season and I am a player who plays not for money, but rather to enjoy the game. You can never get better unless you are backed and you improve on the field. The Force approached me and I never spoke to them first. They said they think I am a good player and they want me as their No 1 flyhalf. What player in my position wouldn’t grab that opportunity"

Sure beats the usual cliched bullshit players spruik to the media when they change teams. A bit of honesty is OK by me.

    Sounds like a reasonable signing.

Now vBookie what odds are you offering that he gets injured in the pre-season, disgraces himself or otherwise fails to start a single game for us?

I can't start thinking them negative waves baby %)

I think its time we had a little bit of luck, he'll be great for us, the new coach will be a revelation and get the boys playing like a well oiled machine again but this time forwards and backs connected. And nib will start to rock like Subi did back in the days before QuokkaGate FightClub and WhiteAnt

I'm looking forward to watching this kid play. Could be the start of the solution.

That's the blind passion for the Force I can appreciate. I haven't seen him play either and am strangely optimistic. I wonder if the Cheetahs would let us have him now? They're not using him!

I've watched him a couple of times this season and he does look good but the commentators in SA are always going on about him having confidence problems.
I must say I am looking forward to seeing him playing for the

Everything I've read about him and and youtubed about him has be cautiously optimistic that we might have found a real diamond in the rough. Something I'm pumped for as a new fan who hasn't had the displeasure of seeing the team at it's worst hopefully I will have the pleasure of seeing them on the upswing. The fact he'll be coming here with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove will only be to the force's benefit. Roll on 2013
