The first thing you teach a kid when he plays is how to pass backwards and then run forward over the advantage line. You need to at least reach the gain line on every phase.
The second thing you teach them is how to tackle You go low - ankles in your arms is the only way to stop giants. Also the opposition should never reach the gain line when they have the ball.
The 3rd rule as a team is that for the first 3 minutes after scoring you need to play like hell to make sure the opposition does not come back and equalise.
The forth rule is that you play like a mad man after half time you lay down the law and set your self up as a team to dominate. If you go out there after half time without authority then you will have problems.

Well the Force did everything right except the above 4 basic rules of how to win a game.

I agree, but we were competing with the RAAF air show out at Pearce as well today. There were 40,000 people at the show yesterday and poss similar today.

That said, I agree that people are also voting with their feet. There's only so much even the most dedicated fan can take :-)

People who like rugby don't go to watch planes on the horizon glintiong in the sun. The fans are staying away 1) because the style of rugby has been so bad nobody can watch it 2) losing every week doesn't help.

The true believers just enjoy the rugby but if they want to fill the place, they have to play attractive rugby. yesterday was a reasonable enough game but the style has largely been unwatchable.

Unfortunately with a Diamond membership you only receive.. a better seat, a free programme, plus an invite to the Diamond Member cocktail night..(unless your partner is also a Diamond member she/he won't be able to go...)...you don't even get free parking on the field...!!!
