What a load of crap.

The turning point was in the first 10-15 minutes. Harvey threw 2 shocking passes when we were on the front foot, in the 22 or almost. Then he takes the ball and does this stupid "stand on the spot" thing, so gets monstered, and when our forwards go in, they "infringe". We had the Sharks scratching their head for a while. Then we gave the game away.

At least Seymour takes the ball to the line occasionally, though he doesn't yet have what it takes at this level. Still, should have come on before half time.

And I think Mark Lawrence is a tosser. He penalised us out of the contest at the breakdown. All South Africans, refs included, think Poey gets away with it at the breakdown, and they are still smarting from the World Cup exit in the quarters. He kept penalising for not rolling away when the Force player was pinned, and had no influence on the clearance of the ball. Even Stransky admitted that on one occasion.

And his comment about the team being poorly coached was apt.

I was going to take the kids to the Rebels game next week - I'm not so sure any more. They are likely to see an ugly side of their dad as we slide down past the Lions to prop up the table.....
