yeah, perhaps Harvey needs to work on his twitch muscles a bit more, having a pro trainer can probably help with the speed issue a bit.

I would put him on ice and give seymour more time on the field. I haven't been impressed with dave at 10, doesn't have the physical presence to threaten, in attack of defense. feel for the guy, sticking it out in the second string, and having a shot but coming up a bit short.

He will always remember his first game though, a try and a bucket load of points.

Seymour at 10 Harvey at 15..... It'll suck for mafi or Wara, but we need to look to the future and give our young tens a test......they might not stack up, but we need to know that.

If Seymour can't bring it together, then try Godwin.....we need to know whether we're looking for one, two or three tens!

Umm, because every team needs at least one kicker and he is the only one we have that can make it onto a field more than twice a year and get it over a bar more than half the time....

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

sheeno? and can seymour place kick? develop sharpie to kick like eales did?

i would rather see some attack with seymour at no. 10 and possibly score tries, rather than having a liability in defense with zero attacking prowess like harvey.

Fair comment if we are looking at next week. But we aren't.

Gee everyone - give Harvey a chance. He's had half a season in the toughest provincial comp in the world and has been dumped into the most difficult position on the field. I appreciate all the work he has done to date and like the fact that he has committed to playing next year. I think all he needs is some time to get used to the extra speed of super rugby.

At worst he'll be a capable backup at 10 and 15. At best he'll get better and we'll love him.

I haven't really seen Seymour attacking the line either. Doesn't seem like an attacking threat and has just been a kicker and distributor. It may be just my TV, but he looks to be a decent-sized guy - would liek to see him take on the defense once or twice, if only to keep them honest. Would like to see him get a start, but I guess Harvey would need to be in the side somewhere as we need a goalkicker.

I didn't realize Harvey was almost 30 - I guess I should've done my homework. I guess that puts some serious doubt as to whether he can develop the speed necessary to play at this level. he is handy for his goalkicking, though.

There is about as much chance of Harvey getting speed as there is of me taking it.
