if it works in reverse, we need a flyer, a tall heavy lock and a passing 12 of international standard (hint don't waste the development spot on a winger).

We have two spots available now Pakalani is out, so a flyer is very important. Is there a lightning quick local player around?

I would go for the passing development player 12, 3M can be the 4th lock. McCalman can also cover and McCaffrey take his spot if needed.

Would it be worth getting Hilgendorf back as a utility back for injury cover. From what I know he was released by rebels and has nowhere to go?
Then again at his age and injuries prob wouldn't offer much more than sidey or Seymour would have

The comments coming from Meehan and Chook are revealing as to what type of player and person he wants. Basically what we have all been baying about - no dickheads, they need to build a culture, a band of brothers, desperate to play and support each orher.

He went to west tigers in the nrl had a couple of injurys early on then just couldnt break into the firsts team. Very excited if this is true.
