After reading this article http://www.westernforce.com.au/NewsE...8/Default.aspx in my cut out pass, I say Phil Blake isn't the coach we want. The last line suggests they'll be playing field position against the Cheetahs. These blokes, by all indications, are leakier than a sieve and the ideal mob to kick start a new attitude to attack.....added to that, they've scored some really pretty tries this year, would fancy their chances of counter attacking and our kickers can't kick it long, or accurately.
If this isn't a smoke screen, I predict we'll not win a game for the rest of the season.

I think we need a complete fresh start in terms of coach - someone who has no connection whatsoever with the current set-up and can bring a totally new perspective to the team . The current set-up seems jaded and I reckon a new broom is what's needed.

I totally agree with PC, but since the initial unnamed sauce claimed "the players want Phil" we've heard nothing more on that front, and various completely unreliable journal like Growden and Harris have not listed him in their short lists.
They need a good hard look at what has happened since 2006, decide where they want to go from today, establish a plan to achieve that goal and PUBLISH it to get everyone onboard. After all, do any of you know what the EWF are about anymore? I certainly don't, and I'm a passionate inaugural fan who hasn't missed a match

It's not a bad idea. The Cheetahs have a starting lock out. Don't know if that's their line-out caller though. On the other hand, their scrum is one of the best in the competition. If we attack inside our own half and knock-on, we could be penalised out of the game. We also have to consider the effects of altitude. It will get us more than it gets them. Perhaps the game plan will change a bit in the second half.
At least Dave Harvey will come cheap.
