ok guys; seems to be almost a month to the day since the last photo update, so i thought it was about time i took another walk. it was a bit rainy this morning, but i managed to dodge the showers and snap a couple of pics!
i tried to get the same angles as last time where i could, but they have moved a couple of the fences to allow for the building works, so some of them are not quite the same.

and here is the second lot.
i managed to get a good one this time from the west looking over to the new eastern stand. progress on site looks to be good - the southern (old "family" stand) end looks to be 70% complete, and the progress on what looks to be new toilets next to it is coming along pretty well too.
lots of steelwork has gone up on the new eastern stand. walking around there they had some of the large steel trusses on the ground - it's hard to get a sense of scale from these photos but they are about 3 to 4m deep! that is a serious bit of steel!
they have also started to fill in the eastern stand terraces in places.
the turf is still in good condition (obviously it needs to be as the Glory are still playing there), but i am sure i read somewhere that it will be ripped up and new drainage installed as part of this upgrade.

i don't know whether it was the architects who put this together, but perhaps they could give our new attack coah some pointers. their team formation (from what looks to be a scrum) is unorthodox to say the least!

nib Stadium I believe is owned by the City of Vincent and managed by Alia. So Perhaps we need to send a letter to the City of Vincent, or do we fire up another petition???
