Good question.

Most of the really big Australian events are staged by the Alice springs Yacht Club anyway. So it doesn't really matter that Perth has so few suitable venues. Much better to stick to Farnarkling if you live in WA. We have some of the best in the world.

I recall us discussing yacht racing when coach first started the site. I don't know anything about it but I believe some WA team won the cup and Burgs was celebrating still years later.
