    Super Rugby Table

Haven’t seen much in the media about the tables at the moment and from an Australian point of view I can see why! Have a look at the points difference column, not one Australian team in the positive!!! I know it is early in the season but gees that’s not good.

The more alarming thing is that only the winner of each conference is guaranteed to progress to the finals then it is purely on points for the next three. Meaning that the other country teams are best placed to have 3 teams in the finals.

Twas always a possibility with the way the competition was set up.

I'd be more concerned if the six finals places were gauranteed to go to the top two in each conference - it'd be more likely that a poor team reaches the finals. At least at the moment, you'd need to have all the teams from a country poor before a poor team gets through to the finals. (Cough, what do you mean?)

At the moment the Reds are 2nd in our conference, but their points would put them last in the NZ conference and 4th in SA.

Ethicist is right (not something I often type! ), despite playing some awful rugby we're only really a game behind the Brumbies and are starting to come together as a team.

A two point loss to the Brumbies and a one point loss to the Rabble

Another season of "if only" ?

They were good against the Reds, but lets be honest, the Reds were absolutely woeful

The real rugby hasn't even begun

We are still a chance of topping the Australian table and therefore qualifying for finals.

Only the Brumbies have played any decent rugby.

The Reds were going well until the injury crisis
