yeah. i do wonder what's changed to allow him to play again though.
hopefully he isnt risking his long term health.

he showed some serious promise in his couple of games.
unfortunately i dont see there being a spot in out list for him in the next year or two. otherwise i;d say we should poach him, as it would be a short term contract only for the victards

IIRC he got a medical clearance. He hasn't got a Force contract, possibly because our hooking stocks are good and that was probably just a matter of timing. His old trade of flanker is pretty well covered too. I hope he goes well wherever he plays.

Great to see Ryan back in Super Rugby, if it wasn't for the injury he would have still been our first choice hooker. I wouldn't be too sure about him having a short term contract, he's pushed Luke Holmes out of a rugby contract before.......haven't heard anything about how he's actually going post-injury though

He is currently playing for Cardiff Blues- has done all season. The Rebels have 4 hookers in their squad, so not sure how Ryan is going to be able to play for them in the next few weeks.

And it looks he could be about to do the same again at the rebels, luke is currently their 3rd choice hooker, although i think he's listed as an extended squad player.....

jeez, I don't recall that. After Frier went off, Robinson came on. The scrums did not go uncontested as far as I recall.

    Yeah, kinda my point Slomo.

It'll be interesting to see how he matches up against Ged Robinson, who seemed to be pretty serviceable last year when Frier was crocked, I'd say Ryan is quite a bit better than Holmesey, at least based upon form before he got hurt.
