I would like to propose that after every Force game the forums are closed for an hour to new comments. This will give our members the opportunity to breathe or kick the cat, yell at the wife.

Yes I was upset last night straight after the match. But in the Fresh air of the next morning. I also had a fresh perspective.

Let me ask you all some questions.

At 21-0 hands up who thought we were going to get spanked like red headed step-children?

Hands up who thought that we would ever receive a bonus point for scoring 4 tries this year?

How good was our scrum?

How good was our forwards? Especially Nathan Charles?

We lost by a point. I thought our comeback was awesome and I am still proud to be a supporter of the Western Force.

To some extent I agree but this is the same old story. How many more years do we have to be the brides maid? The team and coach are being paid to do a job they don't appear capable of doing.
Yes it was only 1 point but I have heard it before.

The Forwards were incredible and Charles is getting better and better.

Every one keeps talking about their injuries and we all forget that we are playing with two scrumhalves in the key positions in the back line.

I am still proud and happy to call them my team and will back them through thick and thin

As you know Ex, I'm pretty conflicted about how we're going this year. I CAN conclusively confirm your glass half full theory though, the Forwards were definitely the full half last night mate.

I loved watching the rebels pack looking like they were on roller skates in the scrum last night but was hurting badly with some of the poor decisions made at various times.

If we can only get the backline to perform with similar effectiveness as the pack we'll be a much better team.

AMEN! Some stats plotting return against outlay for marquee imports over the last few years would be fascinating. Or disturbing.
