No worries. Hopefully get my sounder working and depending on the tide could go for a punt to a local creek and try for some barra and jacks.
If ur heading out to Samson off the bridge its better on the ocean side on an outgoing tide. Sams creek and cossack is also worth a look if the bridge is crowded.
Heaps of Bream (yellowfin and Pikey), while jacks, Queenies and trevs always a chance.....also lots of catfish, cods and sandflies.

I picked up a nice sea perch at the causeway 2 weeks ago at Sampson. And almost got spilled by a 2-3m shark before it but thru my leader. Was on the estuary side of the road

Nice work. Other landbased options worth a shot are cleaverville, burrup, and 40 mile on the eastern end. 4wd would be handy.
