    Sharpes Future

After watching the game on Friday it was evident for all to see the impact that Sharpe Had on the forwards and the whole game. But watching him i couldn’t help but think that he might have hurt his prospect a little with his display? Don’t get me wrong i Love everything about Sharpie and what he brings to any team is immense and invaluable.

The Lineout was awesome on Friday night but i can only recall on about 1 occasion someone other that Sharpe getting the ball. The commentators where having a Field day with it saying things like "look who gets the ball again...yep its Sharpe" and "I think Sharpe is trying to prove something here" Comments like these got me thinking about Deans and the way he has gone about choosing his team.

Did his display on the weekend ultimately prove that he must be in the team or will it damage his chances for the rest of the tournament.

Once again I love Sharpie and I think he should and must be in the team but it was something I notice while watching the game and the way Deans has gone about things lately anything can happen.

I beg to differ he needs to start ASAP, in the lineout he was awesome, he made 15 tackles (the most of any player) had 5 runs, attended the most rucks and mauls with Simmonds.

He needs to start, also his leadership was outstanding, constantly talking to the forwards, even when it was over as a contest.

    Sharpie is needed

    Simmons and Vickerman put together!

Sharpe got the ball more than anybody else in the team because he worked harder than anybody else in the team. He completely dominated the entire match, now that normally wouldn't mean much against USA but the other locks on the field looked a little better than the opposition. Sharpie looked better than their back five combined. If sharpe doesn't clock up his ton at this tournament, we have conclusive proof that deans is a plant!

The commentators I heard said Sharpie should have got man of the match instead of AAC. He should be in the starting 15 along side Horwill, especially with Vickerman in doubt. jmo
