Hi to all loyal club rugby people. As many of you know, I will be leaving RugbyWA as of tommorow and I thought it appropriate to extend my thanks to all those of you who have kept Community Rugby alive through this forum. I have often received phone calls from people in club land complaining about various things that have been posted, and at times a few comments have infuriated me. That said, more often than not, comments have come from people who are no different to me and have a genuine love of our game and an absolute desire to see our game grow.
I have enjoyed the banter and have felt deeply humbled by some of the kind things people have said about me. There was a rumour that I was responsible for Fulvio's mystery disappearance, I can confirm that this is not true. I am concerned that in an attempt to haunt me, he has already moved to Melbourne.
In case Rucking Good was still keen, I will be having a few beers at the Boulevard on Friday night. To JT12, the only reason I left the pub that night was I was with you and two other kiwis and got sick of none of you shouting!
In closing, I would just like to thank all those who have supported me and continue to support our great game. Perth is where two of my three children were born so will always be special to me. I take nothing but wonderful personal and professional memories with me. Thanks to all.
