stoked to hear this... seriously good move, only thing i would be interested about is how we develop him

    1) straight-ball running hard hitting centre Height: 182cm,Weight: 95kg makes him big enough to do this but small enough to be elusive too.

    2) dynamic Quick and unpredictable x-man (do we have the right people to help develop this style? ) - we need this type more than the other due to our loss of OConnor and Smith

My viewing of him has been more of the #1 so far Zim, and he is pretty bloody effective at it!

Depends on who plays 10 I suppose. He might be wasted as a 12 if Ripia plays fly-half whereas Stannard would utilise him better there.

Auckland have been copping a bit of stick in NZ for losing their first two games in the ITM cup (they lost to Otago at Eden Park the other night for the first time in 35 years). A lot of blame has been put on the flyhalf (Anscombe), but will be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure over the next few weeks that is placed on the team - mostly from the media and supporters.

Can't we sign the Samoan 11 as our Marquee player, that would be awesome!

Unfortunately Tuilagi's the star winger for the current English Premiership Champions, Leicester, so I don't think he'll be going anywhere soon.

Just trying to stay positive! As a avid supporter I will be blindly optimistic of our chances although try not to consider or dwell on what could have been. This is a good signing for the force when considering at least from a lamens view the players around on the market

Oh, OK. What was I thinking!

With those three our 2012 midfield is looking potentially awesome. But not as awesome as the Reds' midfield, being as how they won and all.

    That better?

I would have said the Reds midfield were good, solid in attack and very good in defence.. I wouldn't say they were awesome..

Cooper, SBW, and Carter are at times awesome..

Recorded ITM cup game Auckland v Wellington last night. Winston wasn't in the starting 15 and didn't even get a spot on the bench...

Cruel and unusual punishment? Or maybe just injured.
